School of Health Professions


The School of Health Professions became an autonomous division on December 14, 2000.
The School of Health Professions prepares students for careers in a variety of high-demand disciplines including clinical laboratory science; diagnostic medical ultrasound; health sciences; nuclear medicine; occupational therapy; physical therapy; public health; radiography; respiratory therapy; social work; and speech, language and hearing sciences.
Students gain valuable experience in the school's own service and outreach centers, including clinics for speech and hearing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and behavioral health. They also train at more than 800 fieldwork sites across Missouri and the nation.
