In our digital age, many have claimed that letter writing is dead. University of Missouri students from the multi-disciplinary The Letter as Genre course spent a semester reading, discussing, and researching the art of letter writing to determine whether that claim is true. In You’ve Got Mail: Don’t Write Off the Letter, they explore topics ranging from science to Santa, art to inmates, and presidents to personal discovery and prove that letters are still relevant and necessary. Don’t write off the letter just yet, because it turns out you’ve still got mail.
