Easy Returns

As a part of the Mizzou family, we want all of our Tigers to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If for some reason you are dissatisfied, please let us know. If you would like to return or exchange an item please follow the guidelines below:

Return Policies:

Clothing, Gifts, and School Supplies

Please return the item(s) and receipt to us within 30 days of purchase in its original condition for a refund in the original form of payment or an exchange. To get started, please fill out our Return Form.

Graduation Regalia

Given current circumstances, we are temporarily accepting returns of unopened and unworn graduation regalia until April 17, 2020.  Use the return form link above to begin.

Face Coverings

Due to the nature of the product, all sales of face coverings are final.  We cannot accept returns or exchanges for face coverings.

 

Textbooks

As the official store of the University of Missouri, we guarantee you will get the right books for your classes. If you purchase the wrong book, we will gladly give you a refund up to 14 days from the start of the semester, with your original receipt. Textbook purchases may be refunded with an original receipt within two weeks of the start of classes for the Fall and Spring semesters and within one week for Summer sessions.

  • Books must be returned in the condition they were purchased to receive full credit.
  • Textbooks purchased during the last week of classes or during exams may be sold back under the Sellback policy.
  • Course packs, study guides and exam reviews are generally non-refundable.
Self-paced Textbooks

For self-paced courses we will gladly give you a refund up to 14 days from your purchase or drop date. Your purchase date will be shown on your receipt.

Note: Books must be returned in the condition they were purchased to receive full credit.

You may also stop by the Textbook Desk located in the lower level of The Mizzou Store at any time to sell back your books.

 

Rental Returns

You may return your books in person by using curbside drop off:

  • Curbside rental return is available Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • To drop off your rental books, park in the TigerTech parking spaces on Hitt Steet. 
  • Call 573-884-7558 and an associate will give you instructions.
  • Have your rental receipt or student number ready for the associate.

Or use a prepaid shipping label:

  • Fill out the return form here.
  • You will receive an email from UPS with a link to a prepaid return label.
  • Securely package your books in a sturdy shipping box.
  • Include a copy of the packing list that is emailed to you when you submit your request.
  • Print the label and affix it to your package 
  • Drop it off at any location that accepts UPS packages (click here to find a location).
  • You will only be issued one return label, so please ship all of your books together in one box.

 

TigerTech

Most tech accessories can be returned within 30 days of purchase in their original packaging for a refund in the original form of payment or an exchange.

Apple and Beats branded products can only be returned if original packaging is unopened or if products are defective.

All other computers, laptops and tablets may be returned within 7 days of purchase in original condition and all packaging. After 7 days, please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Video and laptop power adapters may be returned or exchanged if original packaging is unopened.

Gift cards, open ink, open software, and open games are non-returnable.
