AutoAccess
The Mizzou Store’s main driver of textbook affordability is the AutoAccess program. This program provides students with digital course materials automatically on the first day of class at the lowest cost in the marketplace. Student accounts are charged for the cost of the content. With this program, your digital materials are taken care of automatically.
The AutoAccess program is designed to improve access to course materials and also to reduce the cost to students. Every student enrolled in an AutoAccess course at Mizzou saves an average of $61.10. AutoAccess has saved Mizzou students $16 million since 2014.
So, what’s the easiest way to get my textbooks?
The Early Bird Textbook Reservation Program makes it quick and easy to get the right course materials. We will automatically pull your class schedule, pick the most cost-effective copies and pack them for you. We will email you when they’re ready to pick up — or deliver them to you for FREE if you live in a residence hall.
You do not need to be registered for classes to sign up for an Early Bird Textbook reservation. We will access your class schedule before the start of classes to pull the course materials you need. Just sign up during Summer Welcome and get FREE in room delivery. It’s that easy!

Educational Discounts
TigerTech offers educational discounts on Apple and Dell computers and accessories, free Microsoft Office for all students, and extended warranty options for all computer purchases. If you already have a computer, do NOT purchase any software. Please check with us on how to receive Microsoft Office at no charge, along with other services we offer for your existing computer. We offer extended warranties for up to four years of accidental damage coverage.
Bundle and Save
During Summer Welcome, TigerTech offers essential computer bundles for specific computers to help you maximize your technology use on campus. Bundles include an ethernet adapter and cable to use in the residential hall room. While wireless is good, wired connections are better, safer, faster, and less prone to interruptions. Also included is a laptop backpack providing protection for your new laptop, a surge protector, and either a three or four-year extended warranty with accidental damage coverage. We discount this bundle up to $70 when purchased all together. When you choose your computer from TigerTech, the bundles available for that computer will appear as options in your shopping cart.
In-House Repairs
TigerTech is here to help all students, whether you purchased your computer from us or brought yours from home. At our techenology service desk, all students can walk up and get help with their computer, phone, email access, or other questions. We provide both hardware repair and software support, and all questions are welcome. If your computer does need repairs (in warranty or out of warranty) TigerTech can help your figure out what needs to be done. If your computer is checked in for service work, we have loaner computers available. Stop by our tech desk for more information.
Finance Your Purchase
Need financial assistance when purchasing a computer? TigerTech offer a Student Purchase Plan that allows students to spread out the cost of the computer over four semesters (two years). It is a simple application process: download and submit the application, then decide which computer is best for you. All purchase must include and extended warranty. We also recommend you speak with the Financial Aid office, as each student and family has different needs and there may be other options for you.
