Students in the College of Education and Human Development are motivated to make a difference in the lives of children, individuals, families, and communities. CEHD offers undergraduate degrees in teaching, educational leadership, and human development and family science, along with a wide range of graduate programs. These programs prepare students for careers in classrooms, schools, nonprofits, healthcare settings, and community organizations.
A strong emphasis on hands-on learning helps students apply what they learn and graduate prepared for their next steps. Through clinical and field experiences, students connect coursework to real-world practice and build confidence working in professional environments.
Across CEHD programs, students develop the knowledge and skills to use technology effectively for teaching, learning, communication, data-informed decision making, and collaboration. Technology is integrated throughout coursework and program experiences, preparing students to work confidently in educational and professional settings.
